If you took the Indian School Certificate (ISC) board exams sometime from 1988 to 1992, his name is on your graduation certificate. Born on the first of February 1927, Wilfred Ralph King had a charmed childhood in Bangalore as a student at Bishop Cotton School with a passion for sports and choir. He grew up to become a beloved teacher of Physics, Chemistry and Math and in 1965 he was recruited to join the Council for the ISC, where he spent almost three decades. Here, Wilfred’s son David King, from his home in Canada, shares how Wilfred was a good looking man who kept himself looking spiffy even in his later years and how he best remembers his father.
