It is indeed true that life and train journeys are alike. Each of us has our own destinations. The train of life stops at stations, there are changes in routes, often delays in reaching goals and destinations, and there are accidents as well. Yet, they say, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. Dr. Vandana Dahiya is a beautiful mind. A radiation oncologist in Jamnagar, Gujrat, helping patients fight through the cruelest of maladies, to finding time to write poetry, and post uncompromising honest opinions on social media. In this narration in English and Hindi, she uses the train metaphor to compare our lives to train journeys that we should strive to make the most of. At least for the short time we are in a train, we know where we are headed.
