Good morning everyone. Today I am so happy to interview Mrs. Mrinalini Tanksalwalla. Mrinalini was married to Medioma, an extraordinary Parsi collector of antiques and works of art. Since his father passed away when he was quite young, he was raised by Mr Mahva who himself was an ardent collector, predominantly of Chinese ivory. He used to passionately order catalogues of bronzes, marble statues, porcelain, paintings, furniture and chandeliers from Italy and France. After his death, Medioma inherited not only the collection, but his immense passion for the business as well. While talking about her husband, her starry eyes were filled with love and admiration for her husband. He once swapped his ivory collection for the Maharaja of Gwalior’s Chinese antiques,” she recalled. His story is very fascinating, stay tuned
