We grandchildren fondly called her AaVo and proudly addressed her as Grand Marie. AaVo was someone who stood tall towering with her never say die attitude and grace. She was the Banyan of the D'Souza clan wherein everyone was sheltered in the shade she provided. An exemplary teacher, a wonderful mother and an over friendly Granny.
