A young entrepreneur is a child or young adult who finds opportunities, assume some risks, and starts and operates a business. Over the past two years, across the world, the COVID pandemic has almost forced many to venture out on their own. The human mind and body cannot be stifled and confined for locked down at homes for too long. For Zoya, at the very young age of 13 years, the lock down and online school from home was just the right amount of boredom that inspired her to get creative and design beautiful drawings, which then got manufactured into 3-dimensional solid art pieces, which she started selling under her business called ZoEy. This beautiful Zoroastrian imagery inspired pieces now adorn homes, shop windows and offices in many parts of India and the world. Here speaking with me Anvi Fenn, from her home in Mumbai is Zoya Irani. Her empowering story is part of Evergreen Story’s audio history project capturing and archiving stories from the Parsi-Irani Community.
