The great teacher inspires.’ ― Unquote, she was everything that pronounced greatness and her student’s world over would gladly echo. Mrs Marie Ermenegilda D’souza started her teaching career spanning 33 years in the late 40’s at St Pauls Belgaum and on to a school in Miraj while she was recuperating from a freak accident. She then travelled to Malawi a country in East Africa to join her husband and taught at the Central and Mountview school. She holds the distinction of being honoured by the Malawian government for her exemplary service and devotion to duty. She returned back to India when her husband retired and settled in Belgaum. It was indeed a great homecoming for her as she joined St Joseph Convent School her Alma Mater where she once walked the portals as a student and then on as a teacher. What an inspiring teacher she turned out be. She was loved by one and all as some of the testimonials from her dear students could be heard in appreciation of this Iconic teacher in this third and final part of the audio series depicting her life and times produced by Evergreen Story.
