In the 1950s, they were brought together by a love of singing in Deolali, Maharashtra. Dilara King was a singer who’d been ask to perform at the school where Wilfred King was a newly minted teacher of Physics, Chemistry and Math. Until Wilfred’s passing last last year, they were inseparable and celebrated 70 years of love together -a journey that took them from Deolali to New Delhi, Clement Town, Dehradun to Canada. Here, their son David King, from his home in Ontario, shares how his parents met and the experience of their later years.
