Imagine going on a trek for the first time and having a life threatening experience. Dr. Jacob Mathew is a spinal surgeon. And earlier this year, he went on a trek in Sikkim with a group of fellow surgeons who rallied together to raise awareness about spinal cord injury prevention. Here, from his home in Kochi, Kerala, Dr. Mathew shares how going on the trek was a big decision for him.
